What is personal information?
What personal information do we collect about you? Personal information which you provide to us, or which is provided to us by third parties
The following personal information about you is provided to us either by you, or by third parties:
- Information that you provide to us or one of our third-party suppliers, such as your name, email address, telephone number, postal address, date of birth, payment information, credit card number, expiration date, authentication code, and similar information. This includes credit card information when you provide an image of your credit card using a mobile phone.
- Information that you provide to us when you communicate with us as part of the Services, for example when you call us, text us, email us, or whenever you use the SOND Pros chat feature in our app.
- Information about you that you make publicly available which we use as part of the Services.
- Information that we collect about you when you participate in our SOND Perks program. For example, information about the total value of the bookings you have made.
- Information about your location. We use this information to provide our Services to you, to improve our Services, and to send you information about products and services you may be interested in.

With whom do we share your personal information? Why do we share it?
We share your personal information with the following third parties, which may vary from time to time and may be different according to where you are located when you access the Services:
Hotels - In order to provide our Services, we share your personal information with Hotels you have booked, or with other third parties who carry out Services on the hotels' behalf.Other users - If you choose to include personal information (such as your email address, photo or other details) in your public profile, this may be viewed by others who use our Services. If you choose to participate in a discussion forum, your IP address may be shared with forum moderators. Sometimes information you choose to share will be available to other users and in some cases may be publicly available (for example, where you share personal information as part of a review, photo submission or similar).
Other users - If you choose to include personal information (such as your email address, photo or other details) in your public profile, this may be viewed by others who use our Services. If you choose to participate in a discussion forum, your IP address may be shared with forum moderators. Our marketing and sales partners - We share your personal information with our marketing and sales partners, who help us manage our advertising, and enable us to send you information about our products and services you may be interested in. These partners help us to manage our customer information and personalize emails. We may share your name, email address, information about how you use the internet and our Services, information about your device (such as your device ID, operating system and browser) and information about your location.
Third party service providers - From time to time, we may need to share your personal information with certain third parties so that they can perform services on our behalf. This may include payment and credit card information, your name and address, details about your invoice, details of your account with us, location, and information about the device you are using to access our Service (such as your device ID, operating system and browser, application and service logs, and information about how you use and interact with our app). Buyers or investors - In the event we consider a sale of all or a portion of our business, or take on new investors, we may share your personal information with a potential buyer or investor.
Group companies - We may share your personal information with members of our group of companies for business and operational reasons, including any parent, subsidiary or affiliate of INFAMILY, LLC. or its successors.
What is our legal basis for using your personal information?
If you are accessing our Services in Europe, then we are required to ensure that we only process your personal information where we have a legal basis to do so. When we process your personal information, we will only do so where at least one of the following applies:
- We need to use your personal information to perform our responsibilities under our contract with you (e.g. processing payments for and providing our Services).

For how long do we keep your personal information?
In general we will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary to fulfill or achieve the above mentioned purposes or for our legitimate purposes, where those are not incompatible with the reasons why we collected your personal information.
We may transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area
Whenever we transfer your personal information out of the EEA, we will comply with applicable data protection law. Some of the mechanisms we may choose to use when undertaking an international transfer are:
- The transfer of your personal data is to a country that has officially been deemed to provide an adequate level of protection for personal data by the European Commission.
- We may use specific contracts approved by the European Commission which give personal data the same protection it has in Europe (called the "EU Model Clauses").
